What are the serving sizes of HoneyBaked Ham?
The amount of ham you need per person varies somewhat based on your occasion. Some of the questions to ask yourself: Are your guests "big eaters?" Are you serving both adults and children? Do you want leftovers? Are you serving other meats or entrees in addition to your HoneyBaked Ham? Are you having a buffet or a sit-down dinner?

Do I need to place an advance order for a ham?
We always have plenty of hams available. Advance ordering is not necessary, however if you have a special request it may be helpful to contact your local store ahead of time during the holiday seasons (Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter)
What happens if you run out of the size ham that I ordered?
HoneyBaked  always has hams available. However, if you have a particular size range in mind, we recommend you call ahead and place an order. This way, we can give you a ham as close to the size you want that we have on hand -- so it'll be ready for you to pick it up when you need it. While we can't always guarantee we'll have the exact size you request, we'll do our best to ensure you leave satisfied.
How do I store my ham?
Store your HoneyBaked Ham in the refrigerator immediately after you get home. The ham is already fully cooked and ready to enjoy and is best served directly from the refrigerator. It will keep in the refrigerator for approximately 6-8 days. To freeze, wrap your ham tightly in aluminum foil and seal in plastic bag to retain the original texture and flavor. Do not freeze for longer than 45 days.  Allow Ham to thaw in refrigerator for 48 hours prior to serving.
How long does it take to thaw my ham?
If your ham has been frozen, simply place it in the refrigerator 48 hours ahead of time to allow it to thaw.
How do I heat my ham?
If you wish to heat your ham, please do so gently. Warm only the amount you plan to eat, because your ham has already been baked and smoked, ensuring a moist, flavorful ham. Warming more than necessary will dry out the ham and lower the flavor quality of the uneaten portion. Place the slices you wish to consume on a microwave-safe plate and cover. Microwave the slices on high until warm. Or, if using a conventional oven, cover the ham on foil and heat at 275° for 10 minutes per pound.
How do I slice my ham?
HoneyBaked Hams are spiral sliced and ready to eat, but to make it easier on your guests, you may want to take some slices off the bone and place them on a serving dish or platter. Using your knife, cut around the bone of the ham.  Next, cut along the natural muscle line to remove the top section of slices.  Finally, cut straight down from the base of the bone to release the remaining sections. Can you recommend a wine to serve with The Authentic HoneyBaked Ham?
We recommend trying a Sauvignon Blanc or semi-sweet white, such as a Riesling. If you prefer red wine, we recommend a lighter red, like Pinot Noir.

How many servings are there in your Sliced & Glazed Turkey Breast?
Each HoneyBaked Sliced & Glazed Roasted or Smoked Turkey Breast is approximately 3 lbs. and provides 8-10 servings.

How do I store my Sliced and Glazed Turkey Breast(s)?
Refrigerate your Sliced & Glazed Turkey Breast immediately in the refrigerator when you get home. It will stay fresh there for about 5 days.
To freeze, wrap your Turkey Breast tightly in aluminum foil and seal in plastic bag to retain the original texture and flavor. Do not freeze for longer than 30 days. Allow Turkey to thaw in refrigerator for 48 hours prior to serving.
How do I heat my Sliced and Glazed Turkey Breast(s)?
We recommend serving turkey directly out of refrigerator. We do not recommend heating, but if you choose to do so, cover with foil and place glazed-side up in conventional oven. Heat at 300° for 10 minutes per pound, or until it is warmed to your taste.

Whole Tender and Moist Roasted or Smoked Turkeys

When do you carry whole turkeys? What flavors of whole turkeys do you carry?
Our retail stores carry both Whole Roasted and Whole Smoked Turkeys on a seasonal basis -- around the November and December months.

How many servings are there in your Whole Tender and Moist Roasted or Smoked Turkeys?
The Whole Roasted or Smoked Turkeys are each approximately 11 lbs. and provide 10-12 dinner servings.
Are your Whole Turkeys already cooked? Can I eat it from the refrigerator?
The whole turkeys are fully cooked, but not table ready to serve. They are served frozen and must be thawed and reheated prior to consumption.
How do I thaw the Whole Roasted or Smoked Turkeys?
To thaw your turkey, place the turkey (in wrapper) in refrigerator for 48 to 72 hours
How do I cook the Whole Roasted and/or Smoked Turkeys?
Place turkey in refrigerator for 48-72 hours to thaw. Preheat oven to 350° F. Remove turkey from bag and place it in a roasting pan, covering it loosely with aluminum foil. Bake for approximately 60 minutes, baste, recover with foil and bake for an additional 30-45 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 150° F. To warm a frozen turkey, preheat oven to 375° F. Remove turkey from bag and place it in a roasting pan with ½ cup of water. Cover the pan with aluminum foil and seal tightly. Bake for 3 to 3 ½ hours, baste, and bake for an additional 60 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 150° F. Leftovers must be used within 3 days. DO NOT STUFF. Since the turkey is already fully cooked, desired stuffing should be cooked separately.
How do I store the Whole Roasted or Smoked Turkeys?
After cooking, wrap leftovers and place in refrigerator. Leftovers must be used within 3 days.
Can I place an advance order for a turkey?
Yes you can. Please contact your local HoneyBaked store ahead of time during the holiday seasons (Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter).
Can you recommend a wine to serve with a whole roasted or smoked turkey?
We recommend a dry white wine, a French White Burgundy or a light red, such as a Pinot Noir.

Do the retail stores ship HoneyBaked Ham Company products?
HoneyBaked products are shipped from the HoneyBaked catalog divisions. We consolidate all shipping to one location, which allows us to have an on-site USDA inspector to be sure strict shipping regulations and HoneyBaked's standard of excellence are met. Do you offer discounts for volume orders?
Yes, quantity discounts are available. Discounts apply to any combination of gift selections ordered and picked up from a HoneyBaked Ham of Ohio retail store. Discounts are based on full retail prices in the corporate catalog. Additional infomration is avaialable in our corporate gifting catalog.
How do I open a charge account?

Do you deliver?
Most of our locations currently offer delivery for lunch and catering orders of $50 or more. Delivery charges start at $10.00 and are based on distance from the store. Call your local store and our Catering Specialists will help with all the details, or order online at www.orderhoneybaked.com. We currently do not offer delivery on retail items.
